Care and services at our Vancouver adult family home
Everything a resident needs day to day happens under one roof, from personal care and medication help to home-cooked meals. Every resident has an individual care plan that we review with the family.
Personal care
Help with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, oral care and toileting. We follow each resident's preferences and protect their dignity and privacy.
Mobility and transfers
Assistance walking, moving from bed to chair, and using walkers or wheelchairs, with attention to fall prevention throughout the home.
Medication assistance
Medications are given on time and recorded. We coordinate refills with pharmacies and keep families and doctors informed of changes.
Meals and nutrition
Home-cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks. We adapt meals for diabetic, low-sodium, soft or pureed diets and cultural preferences.
Dementia care
Predictable routines, a calm house, and caregivers trained to redirect gently. We watch for changes in sleep, appetite and behavior and keep you updated.
Mental health care
Steady, respectful support for residents living with mental health conditions, coordinated with their care providers.
24-hour supervision
Caregivers are in the home day and night, including weekends and holidays, so help is always nearby.
Housekeeping and laundry
Rooms are cleaned and personal laundry is washed, so residents and families can focus on time together.
Activities and company
Conversation, music, games, puzzles, faith traditions, time in the garden and visits from family and friends.
Care coordination
We work with doctors, home health nurses, therapists and hospice teams when they are part of a resident's care.
Respite stays
Short-term stays when a family caregiver needs a break, subject to room availability.

How care begins
- Call us. Tell us about your loved one and what is happening now.
- Tour the home. Meet our family, see the rooms and ask every question you have.
- Assessment and care plan. We learn your loved one's health needs, routines and preferences and write them into a plan.
- Move-in. Bring familiar furniture, photos and keepsakes so the room feels like theirs.
